Art thou profound when you read a novel entitled “Touch Me Not!”

I’m quite fascinated by the looks of people whenever I bring along the book “Noli Me Tangere” by Rizal.
People look at me quite funny, estranged, weirded out.

As you all know, it’s literal translation is “Touch Me Not” – a momentous novel (part one of 2 novels) that set fire in the Philippine revolution.
The strange thing [...]

Beauty and things in between

I woke up today with a puffy face.
The area below my eyes look like a bed of roses. They have soft pillows seemingly cradling the sides of my nose. Pffft. Must’ve been the eyeliner last night. I should throw it out seriously.
While contemplating on whether or not concealer will save my face today, I took [...]

Listening to Jeff Buckley, Animal Liberation Orchestra, and Datarock.

———————————————————————————–
I love love love Jeff Buckley.
Oh man, If he was alive right now – I’d probably pay an arm and a leg for his concerts.
Aside from the fact that his lyrics are poetic and demands resonance, his voice is pretty soulful enough to last me a hectic work day of design-challenges. His voice — [...]

Our Toys

Look at the lovely critters I have in my room. (all from him) hehe.
Loveliness indeed.
Because I can’t have Waldo here, they will have to make do.
PS. I’m fascinated by Doraemon. What an interesting character.
My Doraemon doesn’t have an elysee on his head; but I reckon he still flies by night when I’m asleep.

I almost forgotten about this one.

I almost forgot about this entry to Eastern Telecom.
Strange thing is, I never even received any verification from them ( at least, upon acceptance of my entry, right?!)
I was pretty optimistic about this piece of work because – I really did spend much time planning and revisiting tiny details to execute the concept. Bah. I [...]

Carlsberg on a Saturday night. On a budget trip.

The last time I drank anything remotely alcoholic was during my last visit to Manila, when I met up with my siblings ( Owie, Billy and Martha, and Jo-ann – Owie’s friend aka defacto “almost” sibling). We had glamorous drinks ( I think we had fabulous mojitos, I remember having 2-3 glasses of Strawberry and [...]

Are you a savvy auntie?

Me, Bernard, and Gabe!

Baby Catie!
So.. Umm.. Yeah. I’m a savvy auntie.
It’s quite exciting actually. First, I was an auntie to Brandon (in his speedy baptism while the happy folks visited Manila), to Caley and Chloe – who are my favoritest nieces because they’re so funny, adorable and smart.
Next in line,came Bernard’s Baby boy – Gabrielle [...]
