Berinda Site Design

December 3rd, 2007 by camille

I had lots of fun creating this site design for Berinda, a real estate developer based in SE asia, specifically Malaysia, Singapore and neighboring countries. Still waiting for client feedback though. We’ll see how it goes. (designer’s note: still pending approval)

A Bold Shape– Updated :)

November 29th, 2007 by camille

I had so much fun creating this site. I used Sketch Up to provide me a perspective - base (Well, because I don’t trust my own perspective) and rendered everything else in Photoshop. I love gray, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did :) It’s very minimalist, modern, and clean.

Updated: Included the Blue Version

Ps. I just got back from Sg. Hopefully, its a portent for things to come. Watch out for more design-goodness and updates :)

Simple Spa Website Designs

October 26th, 2007 by camille

Updated :) I was tasked some time this week to come up with designs for Simple Spa. Simple Spa is a Singaporean - based Spa focused on catering premium Spa services - without hassles, worries or the frills that come with other centres. The challenge? Come up with a design that is crisp, professional - and most of all - conveyed the meaning of “Simplicity”. :)

Overcoming Yet another Designer’s Block

September 17th, 2007 by camille

As designers, we usually encounter stumbling blocks along the way. I guess, thats an indication of some sort of growth and direction - without them, we would never learn. The same saga goes with my love hate relationship with Illustrator, Indesign and other design tools . We can’t live with them, we can’t live without them. One of my major stumbling blocks has been the struggle to create minimalist artworks, with some sort of professional feel. Today, I had the privilege of helping out another designer and take on with his task- to create a minimalist site with a tainted Powder Blue feel. * I love helvetica to bits, but somehow, with the specifications of an “all caps” navigation, I feel saddened to witness helvetica resembling some sort of Arial outcast. Nevertheless, here goes:

Where is everyone going?

September 6th, 2007 by camille

I made a web graphic comp - inspired by Hypnoteis. I hope I didn’t really copy their style, I just wanted something dark, a bit spunky, and existential. I think it would make a wonderful desktop background, but I forgot to set the comp to 1024×768 pixels. It’s around 600+ in height, so I suppose its only use is visual enjoyment. comments, critiques welcome :)
*picked out helvetica nueue and texture brushes, stock photo converted from SXC.hu. Hope everyone enjoys the visuals :)

Church Layout? Hmmm.

September 3rd, 2007 by camille

I think design challenges become more and more alluring as we are presented with unconventional topics for output. This design project was given to me as a trial - I really do not know whether or not it will make it. I’ve never been a “church” person before, nor am I addicted to social networking sites. But I tried my best to make it fun and youthful, and user-friendly:
