New Sketchpad Entries. Kindly See Under the cut! (more…)
Do you like food as much as I do? I rounded up three of my favorite foods of all time and made comps about how they make me feel. I love saturated color, which was a perfect combination to the organic feeling of the images. (In order: Indian Food,Sushi and Dark Chocolate) Enjoy! (I submitted these to www.ideafixa.com)
I found this beautiful website called Illustration Friday. I’ve been meaning to post an entry for a long time but I never had the time. Ho hum. But today, I posted one :D It’s meant to be surreal. Entitled “when I dream, I dream of the space around me.”

I made a web graphic comp - inspired by Hypnoteis. I hope I didn’t really copy their style, I just wanted something dark, a bit spunky, and existential. I think it would make a wonderful desktop background, but I forgot to set the comp to 1024×768 pixels. It’s around 600+ in height, so I suppose its only use is visual enjoyment. comments, critiques welcome :)
*picked out helvetica nueue and texture brushes, stock photo converted from SXC.hu. Hope everyone enjoys the visuals :)
I made a visual representation of a concept shared by my dear friend named Paul (Doble) who’s currently in livejournal. Since I’ve been extra inspired lately (Go Graphika Manila Spirit!), I decided to finally color this long - overdue artwork. I hope everyone enjoys. I love it that the little boy seems to stare at it ever so endearingly.
mirroring elements has been a long (oftentimes, overused) trend in illustrations, usually to depict a point or to emphasize strong characterization / visual clues.
i made this vector illustration. (supposedly for junn, but as i’m still scouting for printers willing to print them into a tshirt, i realized it was too girly, and probably won’t suit his boyish charms. haha) I think this artwork was inspired by the resurgence of all things driven by the 80’s huge-hair/disco era and japanesey characters, yet i tried to deviate from anything anime-ish.. (Yes, i can’t draw anime-styled stuff to save my life.) I’m glad it still came out with an Oomph.
