What I have been up to..

July 31st, 2008 by camille

Hi there folks,
Been on a long hiatus from updating this site as well as my Behance account. I’ve been super duper duper busy, I sometimes wish I could split myself into four parts so I can be four times as productive. Hahaha!

As the “ber” months swing nearby, I can’t help but think about my year goals and where I am right now. September is just a stones’ throw away, so what better time to assess yearly progress than now.

My year goals include:
- open a time deposit account (which I will definitely leave in Manila
- have peaceful trips back and forth Manila and Singapore this September and December (Yay for extended vacation leaves!)
- Improve on existing skill sets, specifically in the fields of conceptual design (from the likes of the masters - Fantasy Interactive, Studio Dialogue and 24-7) :)
- Improve on UI design (which I have been plunged into practice recently).

I’ve been super busy lately, most of which are personal projects. I am still looking forward to designing tshirts( one of the most wonderful people to work with! ).

I had the pleasure of doing some collaborative work recently - with some Danish folks and Russian folks. My heart goes out to these wonderful people who have been easy to get along with. It is a breath of fresh air.

Anyhoo, I’ll get back to designing now. More posts next week, perhaps? When my neck is free from comps and colors and design elements.

Enjoy these photos from the Singapore Museum Light show. The spectacle was definitely worth it. What a lovely sight!

more photos at my multiply page (yes, i am too lazy to open a facebook account)

A much awaited resume / CV update

April 15th, 2008 by camille

After a looong while, I’ve decided to update my resume (also called CV..)
Its much more artsy this time and has information arranged nicely and neatly.
I also made a simple identity of sorts - kind of like the doodles and the earthy waves I’ve always been so fond of. The resume may be viewed here with PDF format .

Graphika Pinoy Feature

April 8th, 2008 by camille

Hallo friends :D thanks folks for featuring me in Graphikapinoymag :D
Although.. Hmm.. I’d say some of my better works may be found here at my own category.
Thanks for the feature though :D I am so thrilled.
I’m so happy for this magazine. I hope it raises more awareness to the growing design scene in the Philippines :)

Yes. I look like I’m spaced out. But I don’t really care. Hahaha! :)

Hmmmmm .. A break from my personal Art.

March 27th, 2008 by camille

I feel kind of sad that I’ve been soo busy to take some time off and draw again.

And.. Sad to say, I thought I brought a sketchpad with me here in Singapore, but apparently I forgot it in my desk in Manila. Boo!

On a totally unrelated note, I really enjoyed viewing this park right in front of SMU (Singapore Management University). It had placards of Marylin Monroe planted on the ground. Very pretty indeed!

Mount Sophia also has this small viewing area called “Sinema”, which houses a lot of independent flicks, I believe. I should go watch some when I get the chance to. Their prices for the sodas are quite expensive, but visiting the little boutique is well worth the extra cents. I really like the interior and visual candy :D The tshirts are quite pretty too. I shall take some photos when I get the chance :D

Enjoy this photo from Haji Lane for Now. Quite Interesting isnt it?:

We are Moving to a new blog skin! :)

December 5th, 2007 by camille

Hi everyone! Expect some interruptions as I will be moving to a new blog skin — hopefully by this weekend.

Yay! We finished moving to this blogskin!
Other widgetty stuff are still to be installed. But i like it so far. Thanks to the wonderful people from K2, I was able to customize it a little with effortless ease. I like the san serifs and the nice clean lines.
Wonderful new resolutions from here on forward:

  • keep the image sizes clean and crisp at 500px width
  • keep blurb area to a minimum.
  • *still figuring out how to put the categories back in the right panel. will test and see whats wrong.

Lovely WP template. Again, K2, Cheerios!
