About Camille
My humble beginnings came from my fascination with art at a very young age. Doodling, staring at crayons, doing weird stuff with wood and paper.
After spending most of my highschool life dabbling with our Highschool Publication’s caricatures and covers, I ventured into Export Management for college, but shifted to Multi-media arts shortly after a year.
During college,( in between taking care of my academics and my short lived debating career),I took on various freelance projects to expand my portfolio. I worked at Info4Ppl Inc. as an intern, handling project-collaborations with Warner Bros, Smart Telecom, and others. In between web and graphic design, I had a lot of interest with Mixed Media and the power of video, so I decided to make my Final Thesis project - an Experimental video exploring three Philosophical themes.
Before graduating, I landed a full-time job as a Designer for The Design People creating professional web designs for US based clients. I’ve also freelanced shortly thereafter, working with projects for Globe, KM mentors, and other internal projects, graphic designs, etc. I’ve also had my first packaging project early this year for Islas Aromatics, a local filipino brand that caters bath and body products sold in all Chocolate Clothing stores nationwide.
Recently, I’ve decided to move to Singapore as a Media Designer for a Singaporean ad agency called Paprika Global. (www.paprika.com.sg) It’s a small agency in tiny Singapore, but it has a cozy environment and the people are just wonderful. I do print stuff and web stuff here as well. Occasionally, branding and research assignments are also thrown on my plate - so it really builds character learning all of these agency processes.
I like people who are constructive, who think differently than I do, but will be willing to work towards compromises. I like people who recognize structure amidst the madness of art and design. I like people who can elucidate their ideas freely, and think beyond what is on our plates now. If you want to collaborate, feel free to message me.
i love japanese food, doodling, reading other people’s blogs, obsessing about design stuff, reading about frameworks, arguing and trying to debunk arguments, seeing things differently.
i don’t like .. people who give me this look that says You’re Not Good Enough for me. Because I am, you probably just don’t know that yet. I don’t like people who are ill spirited and negative.
i believe in designs that work. and fulfill purpose. Should you have any questions about me,my art, what i’m like, or if you would personally want to share your plans for world domination, email me at camille.delrosario@gmail.com
Don’t hesitate to add me as a friend in Behance or Linked In. Updated resume downloadable here.
