New Theme for this Portfolio Site, Currently Brewing

August 31st, 2007 by camille

Hi Friends,
I realized that the time for updating has come once again :)
I’ve been so enthralled by blogging, that I now want to use the platform for almost all sites that I maintain. I will be working on editing a WP Theme once again for everyone’s viewing pleasure. My target launch will be Monday, September 3, 2007.

Oh by the way, I’m celebrating my 1st Year of Employment at the Design People by September 13, 2007. Yay!

Mortgage Templates

August 30th, 2007 by camille

I made new templates :) Edited much of the stock photos included in the original draft. I like them this time, there are more suitable photos that match the site.

Calling Card Design (First Draft)

August 17th, 2007 by camille

****I edited this card design already.Special thanks to everyone who contributed comments! Thanks to Gary who gave a lot of input on this as well. I really appreciate comments since they really do help in developing design skills :)****

callingcard.jpg

I wanted a crisp looking calling card which made use of my favorite type face - Helvetica, as well as incorporating the themes found in my folio. I will be switching Wordpress themes soon, Hopefully I can still incorporate the black-gothic border theme I’ve grown to love so much. I also like snippets of pink in between, but since I’m dealing with a tangible medium here (like Print) I opted to stray away from the Pink elements. What do you think?

Edited: Now I have a version 2!
* I started working on my version 2 today. I think simplicity works well. Thanks and cheers to all of the constructive comments in fine tuning this calling card (Theres so much to take into consideration, and I believe that simplicity is one of the priorities I want to make in this card) I edited the following:

  • minimized graphic detailing on top and on the bottom of the page
  • arranged Helvetica typography
  • utilized gradients, and minimal vector graphics
  • took out lower border - minimal graphic detail on top

TDP AVP 2007

August 14th, 2007 by camille

the design people audio visual presentation rocks.
Hi everyone,

I couldn’t upload the video in youtube since this year they gave us only an FLV format. I uploaded it in my web server for easy viewing.

Clickie

WHAT IS THE TDP AVP 2007?
- a demo reel that showcases our company’s web portfolio in unconventional means, a fusion of 3d, 2d and vector elements. I was part of the team that created this - I’m happily launching it here in my site as well.

I made a meet.camille blog about fashion, dating and my escapades.

August 13th, 2007 by camille

Hi everyone,
I’m writing today to promote my 2nd blog installment for this year - entitled MEET.CAMILLEDELROSARIO.COM. Things have been great design wise - so I’m just making this out of the sheer fun of it. I have a blog packed with:

  • exciting make up tips
  • fashion suggestions, tips, what nots
  • restaurant escapades, gimmick places (coming soon)

So I hope you all visit some time when you have the time. I had fun editing this wordpress template ( I guess it gave me more liberty since it was a minimalist’s layout) And.. as usual, I indicated the url of the base template designer to give credit where it is due. Much Cheers.

*Note: I also updated this blog’s CSS - to highlight my header tagline (because i think it is a pretty interesting tag line and it needs to be noticed) As well as my title font size. Hmm. I think it refreshes the page a bit. Although, I will still forever fancy small text :X

Graphika Manila | Artists up for collaboration wanted!

August 13th, 2007 by camille

Last Saturday, we attended the famed Graphika Manila 2007 - an international multimedia conference featuring local and foreign artists from cross media specializations. I found asylum particularly interesting, very awesome and hip artworks. Cheers to Mr. Steve Tirona as well, I really love his photography :) I like it that he adds his personal touch of surrealism to the glossy print media - as well as other outputs.

More about Graphika Manila found in Ricky’s blog
(because I have yet to upload the photos of this year’s event)

Early this morning, I was invited to be a guest at a local channel called UNTV - a very unconventional channel which houses their studio - in a *drumroll* a house.

I was part of their morning segment which tackled arts and music. Pretty fun. I plugged this website for any interested artists who would like to create collaborative artworks and what nots. I’m so glad that I got invited! Thanks to Mr. Rodel Flordeliz, I really appreciate my 10 minutes of fame.

(Oh goodie. Apparently I’m one of those few people who actually look thin on tv. I love it already!)

Me and a bunch of friends are hoping to host an exhibit sometime soon. Hopefully this pans out well. I’m so excited to paint again and flex my artistic muscles.

I left my heart in your backseat (sort of)

August 12th, 2007 by camille

I made a visual representation of a concept shared by my dear friend named Paul (Doble) who’s currently in livejournal. Since I’ve been extra inspired lately (Go Graphika Manila Spirit!), I decided to finally color this long - overdue artwork. I hope everyone enjoys. I love it that the little boy seems to stare at it ever so endearingly.
